no preferences at top of xfinity connect

I have no Preferences tab at the top of my e-mail page. What I do have from left to right is:
Xfinity Connect, Mail, Address Book, Calendar, Voice, Text and Help.

How do I add Preferences so I can manage them?

Click the gear icon next to your name on the far right side of the black bar, then choose Settings from the menu.
