I need assistance to create a new (additional) email address.

To add additional email addresses you need to be signed in as the Primary user, then follow the directions found here.

I've done that, but can't get past step one. The "continue" button is unresponsive.

Did you select either the "Send email invitation" or the "Create credentials" option? See http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Customer-Service/Add-child-to-account/m-p/3077950#M152299.

I selected "Create credentials" option. I couldn't get to step 2, even after numerous tries including completely starting over three times.
