my cell phone wont sink my comcast e-mail

I'm having trouble properly setting up my comcast e-mail accounts on my cell phone. The phone gives me a mesage stating there was a network arror. I can set the phone up manualy but am unsure of all the settings.

  Is it a pop3 account ?

Is the Server Comcast.net?

What Port number should I use ( 995)?

Security Type ?

Re: my cell phone wont sink my comcast e-mail

My emails won't load on my Samsung Galaxy 5 (android) either when I am on my Comcast wifi at home.  If I switch to xfinitywifi or turn wifi off, then they load.  I am wondering if the server changed while I was gone for Easter weekend.  I use the Comcast email app on my phone.  Maybe it changed and I need to reinstall it or update it.  Please reply if you figure it out.

The settings for Comcast accounts are found here----------------

https://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email/?

Comcast email accounts are IMAP compliant by default.  POP3 will still work, but you will need to configure the phone manually.  It depends on what kind of phone you have.
