missing email

missing email

I opened my email inbox about 9:00PM last night and all but about 4 emails were there. Has anyone experienced this? My sent box also only had about 5 emails. I usually have hundreds in both. I called comcast and they said they couldn't do anything. Any ideas?

Comcast Security Assurance might be able to help you with this. Give them a call at 1-888-565-4329 (from http://constantguard.comcast.net/help/report-abuse/). Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful. If so, be persistent, and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.

Thank you BruceW, I will give that number a try. I have spoken to two customer service people, a tech person who asked for my password, and one supervisor so far. I only access my Comcast account through webmail.
