How do I stay permanently checked in as myself?  I keep getting the Welcome Guest message everytime I delete an email or change between the inbox and the drafts folder.

The guest thing is an ongoing, known problem.  It has no effect on your account.  I doubt they will get it fixed before everyone is migrated to the new format.  I have the new format for one of my accounts and so far I haven't seen it happen.
