after i used my computer I lost email on my tablet. What did I do?

Are you using an email client on the computer like Outlook, Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail?  If so, are you using POP3 for the Comcast account?  If so, the client is downloading the messages and then deleting them from the server.  So you need to check how the account is enabled.  When using the email on more than one device, the recommended protocol is IMAP.  The tablet probably is using it already.  So both devices need to be using IMAP.
