On Wednesday when I logged in to check e-mail, a message popped up about a New XFINITY Connect Experience. It said 'Your email, folders, and address book haven't changed, but might look a little different." Ever since then, I haven't been getting new e-mails in any of my four secondary account folders. The folders are still visible when I am logged in to my primary account and the old emails are still there. Just no new ones since Wednesday. Live Chat and phone help have not been able to resolve the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
What you are seeing are archive folders. You can add those secondary accounts under "Add mail account" in the folder pane. Click on that link to start entering them. It will say Gmail or "Other". Click on Other and follow the prompts. I have 5 active accounts there right now. It seems a bit slow to load sometimes but it does work. The feature is a "mail fetcher" similar to those available in Gmail, Outlook.com, and others. There is no limit to how many accounts you can have in it.
I did that and added my secondary accounts but it doesn't work. I know there is new mail becuase when I sign out and back in under the secondary accounts the new mail is there. It just does not show up when I am in my primary account.
Aha....it DOES work but you have to OPEN the secondary folder and then it will show the entire secondary files/folders account. Not like the old way where only e-mails were shown. You can now manage the entire secondary account right from the primary once you open the folder.

Glad you got it sorted out.
Free tip------------you can drag and drop emails from one account to another. I just moved one from my Comcast account to my Mail.com account. I checked at the Mail.com website and sure enough, it appears on their server too. It looks like the header is intact too. Some people might find that trick useful. Pretty slick IMO. You can do the same thing using the Move button in the toolbar.
Hi,
I've added my secondary accounts but it doesn't seem to work. So far, even while in the secondary folder, no new mail is showing up. When I log directly into a secondary account, not only is there new email, but very old email that I thought I had deleted is there. I guess it only truly deletes if you are directly logged in?

Can you see the Inbox for the secondary? It takes a few seconds to load in my experience.
Janet,
Don't forget, you must OPEN the folder. It's not like the old method. Open the folder and everything will show up including all the folders you may have set up in the secondary account.
Yes, that was it. Must be because the is so much mail that I thought I hjad deleted before. Thanks!
