Customer will forward emails to other acct and will discontinue with Comcast.How long can he forward emails after discontinuing service.He needs 1 year...

Comcast doesn't offer email forwarding after you cancel service.  Once you are no longer a paying subscriber you will lose access to all HSI services including the email.  So the person needs to set up an account with a free standing email provider like Outlook.com or Gmail to start transferring emails they may want to keep, before they cancel service.
