Re: how do I switch secondary email accounts to IMAP

Use the same site you used to request the primary account conversion,  only submit the secondary account email address

Re: how do I switch secondary email accounts to IMAP

Comcast doesn't offer IMAP services at this time. Only POP3.

Re: how do I switch secondary email accounts to IMAP

Comcast does have IMAP service available.  It is in "Beta" testing but it is working fine for me with  Windows8 mail.

Thankyou to the forum for answering my question.

You can register for the beta of IMAP.

The URL for the registration site is https://xcsignup.comcast.net/onboardingapps/imap  Once registered your account will be moved to our Beta platform and will be accessible via IMAP within 72 hours.

Re: how do I switch secondary email accounts to IMAP

I have been told that the IMAP beta works only with the primary e mail account, and not with secondary e mail.  Is that not true?
