how do I load a list of email addresses into an address group

how do I load a list of email addresses into an address group

I have a long list of email addresses in an Excel spreadsheet.  How can I load them into a Comcast email address group?  It won't let me cut and paste into the CC: field on the email so i'm trying to go the "address group" route, but I can't find a way to put the addresses into the group.  Do I need to create a contact one at a time in the Address Book?

Thanks!

Re: how do I load a list of email addresses into an address group

You would need to export the Excel file as .csv, then import it into the Comcast address book.  Once that is done, you would need to check each contact for the group to move them to the group folder in the left pane.  If you are still on the old email format, when you check a contact in the list, the toolbar above it becomes active and you can move it to the group that way, or drag and drop it.  In the new format, your only option is to drag and drop.  Right now the new format address book is a little buggy still, and some people are having trouble using drag and drop.  If you encounter that, try using a different browser.
