how do I find former email accout with same

how do I find former email accout with same

I had an email account with the same email name that is currently active. The same xxxxxx@comcast but was terminated or suspended in Spring of 2015,and reactivated Jan 2017. Although the email name is and was the same, the PW for each  is and was different.

Any chance of retrieving the old account that started back in 2005 with Comcast? Advise please & Thanks

My first gut reaction is to answer NO since the time expired between spring of 2015 and Jan of 2017 exceeds the timeframe set for retrieval, but you never know.  Comcast the Comcast Security Assurance team and ask them directly.  Phone number to the Comcast Security Assurance Dept is 1-888-565-4329.

Geek46 is almost certainly correct.  When a user ID (that part of the email address to the left of the @ symbol) is changed or deleted, it is suspended for 90 days, and then released back into the pool of available IDs for any Comcast customer that wants to claim it.   That you were able to use it again just means no one else claimed it in the intervening time period.
