Re: home page

Your homepage is controlled by whatever browser you are using.  Are you sure you don't have it set to "My Account"?

e-mail log in

It switch's me to the My account page as soon as I enter my screen name and password and hit enter?

How can I get it to go to my email  rather than the MY Account page?

Re: e-mail log in

Navigate to the MY Xfinity homepage, and in the upper-left area you will see a link to make it your homepage-------------------

When you click on that link, it takes you to how to set your homepage, depending on the browser you use.

Re: e-mail log in

Comcast is set as my home page. Here is what happens. I have the home page open, I put i n my user name and password to open my e-mail,BUT, it sends me to the MY ACCOUNT page. WHY? How can I get this back to going directly to my e-mail account????

Re: e-mail log in

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session. If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser.  You normally can't sign directly into the email.  It should take you to the Xfinity homepage.  You can try to drag and drop the url when you are on the Inbox page to your desktop to create a shortcut to it.

Re: e-mail log in

I have the same problem.  It isn't a "home page" issue.  My home page is set to xfinity and it starts there.  When I sign to check my email, it used to stay on the xfinity page and show I was signed in.  Now instead it sends me to the My Account page where it asks me to sign up for paperless billing, etc.  I have cleaed my cache and browsing history to no avail.

Try using a different browser and see if the same thing happens.

Re: e-mail log in

Happens with both Firefox and Safari.  It doesn't prevent me from accessing anything, it just makes it annoying.

Re: e-mail log in

I still think it's a browser issue.  Try resetting Firefox to its defaults and see if that helps.  What version of Safari are you running?  They are up to v11.0.1, and Firefox just updated to Quantum v57.

Re: e-mail log in

Running Safari 11.0.1, Firefox Quantum 57.0.  Still goes to My Xfinity home page when I open either browser but then goes to the My Account page when I sign in.  Then if I click on "My Xfinity" it takes me back to the My Xfinity page.  It's only one extra click, but it just started doing this recently.  Thanks for your help.

Re: e-mail log in

OK now I'm thinking this is the new normal for sign-in.  I just tried it and I am also getting directed to My Account when I sign-in.  I'm on an iMac running Chrome.  So I guess it's not a browser thing, but rather it's supposed to do that.  I'll see what else I can find out about it.
