file attachment in email

when I attach a file to an email, the box is checked that says: "show images in message body".  I do not want that...do I have to uncheck it each time?

Re: file attachment in email

Apparently.  It seems to be the default.

Re: file attachment in email

That's odd.  Mine doesn't do that.  The box is unchecked when I attach a file or photo and it stays that way unless I check it.  Try unchecking it and then start composing another new email, attach something to it and see if it stays unchecked.

When I start composing a new email, and I click on "Attach" in the toolbar, this is what I'm looking at--------------------

Note that the "Show Images in message body" box is not checked.  I don't understand why you are not seeing the same thing.
