emails keep deleting

emails keep deleting

I have all my email folders perferences set for never deleting the emails, yet I don't see them when I look into the folders. Why can't I see my previous emails?

Do you have the account enabled on another device like a smartphone or a tablet?  If so and it's using POP3 it may be downloading the messages and deleting them from the server.  If this is the case you need to check your settings on that device to see if that is what's happening.
