emails going to trash

Can anyone help me with email? i have had this email address with comcast for years with no problem. All of a sudden, my emails are going to the trash bin at the end of a day. how do i re-set for the to stay in my inbox indefinetly? i have looked everywhere and can't find where to go to fix it

Do you have the account enabled on more than one device?  If so, check the settings on the other one to see if that accounts for it.
