I am just trying to figure out why i find some of my emails already in the trash folder, before i read them, and what can i do to change that from happening ?

It doesn't sound like anything you can fix by going into your settings.  What happens if you just move them from Trash back into the Inbox?  To be on the safe side, I would change your password and secret question and answer in the event that this is the result of a hack or some other malware.
