How do I block those pesky ad emails?

Assuming you are using the Comcast webmail, make sure you have the spam filters enabled.  From the Inbox page, at the top click on "My Account".  It will prompt you to sign in again. After that, at the top of the next page click on "Users and Preferences".  That will show you whatever accounts you have set up.  For each one you should see two tabs;  one for Basic settings, and one for Email settings.  Click on the one for email, and look down to where the Spam button is.  If it's on, it will be green.

 

But if you are still getting some in your Inbox, start marking them as spam.  It takes time to "educate" the filters so they start remembering what you marked as junk mail.
