email won't load

just got off the phone with customer service. This guy was so professional, so nice, and a guy I'd want to represent my company. However. They were unaware that there was an ongoing problem with loading email this morning. First he said that although it's not an excuse, Comcast really wasn't primarily an email provider. Then we went through some diagnostics, and then he discovered that his OWN email wasn't working either. What a way for the front line guys to discover there's a system wide problem! We're shopping for a new email service.

Comcast got hacked last night..someone redirected their servers to non functioning servers. Found this on ABC News https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=4971129

The fact that THEIR OWN tech support doesn't know that is crazy.

So now that Comcast/Xfinity is aware they have been hacked, how long do the customers have to wait for a notification?  For warnings?  For our messages to open????  Have we been compromised in any way?  We pay way too much for this "service" to be so weak.  Gmail anyone?
