i mistakenly hit the mark as spam button instead of move button.  does that now mean anyo.e who sends from that email to the spam folder or does it not get delivered at all in the future  how do i correct this

Mail mistakenly in the spam folder can be marked as not spam.

In addition to what "rightfooted" posted, it takes time for something to consistently get put into the Spam folder by you marking them as such.  It would not normally happen after marking it only once.  But if it does, just use the button in the toolbar as posted above.
