I get the same thing! My Xfinity Conenct email is not working. When I try to click on an e-mail the loading takes forever and I can't read any emails! I can't even delete any emails or do anything! Please fix Xfinity Connect!
Same for me. Just started late this morning.
For both my phone and my laptop I use the Mac Mail app. (Once in a blue moon do I actually check email through the Xfinity app.) I haven't updated systems or changed any account preferences.
On my iPhone 6+ (iOS 10.3.3) I did get mail early this morning, but nothing as of an hour ago. I just checked the laptop - which I don't use very often - (MacBook Pro using Sierra 10.12.6), again using the Mac mail app as usual, and nothing came through. The mail window indicated "account error" and displayed the following:
I then logged into Xfinity to check the Comcast mail app and couldn't access mail from there, either. I don't know if I can send any mail - just sent email to my husband, who's not on Xfinity at work. I always cc: myself on emails, and nothing came back to me. Just spinning spinning spinning.
Any advice or sympathy would be much appreciated!
The problem is obviously not with any of the settings on your computer. The entire Comcast email system is currently down. Don't change anything on your computer. I imagine they are working on the problem.
AlanD is 100% correct. I am a business customer and it took me 3 phone calls to find out that they are having a major email server issue. Why is it that we know of these problems before comcast does?
The first phone call the guy had me check my email on different web browsers. I always use Firefox and he said they don't support it, so I checked on Opera and he told me that I needed to check on IE. Are you serious?
The second person I talk to tells me that all my settings look fine and I need to call an outside IT specialist to come look at my settings on my server! Really?
I am so sick of comcasts incompetence!
Same here, does Comcast look at the forums? Or at all the messages I've sent since this e mail program appeared stating it is TERRIBLE and can we have the old program back...
sam here. finally got thru to comcast tech. There is an issue and they are working on it. Comcast just gets worse and worse.
