My comcast email inbox email show a time that is different than actual time received/sent, off by six hours

If you have the new Open-Xchange "Appsuite" webmail ("...connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/..."), check

        (gear icon) / Settings / Time zone

 

Also check your device Time and Time Zone settings.
