When replying to an email I want to attach a file but the icon is missing .

Hi conwell1! Below are some steps that will walk you through adding attachments in an email.

 

 

Once you have composed an email, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Attachments icon in the open message.
    Open email message in XFINITY Connect - Attachments icon is center-left below Subject line.
     
  2. Select the file on your computer that you wish to attach.
    Note: If you wish to attach more than one file, click the Attachments icon again and select the second file that you wish to attach. Continue this step to add the desired number attachments.
    Open email message in XFINITY Connect with two attachments.

 

If you are still using the older version of the email client, follow these steps:

 

 

Once you have composed an email, follow these steps:
 

  1. Click Add Attachment in the Email toolbar.
    XFINITY Connect email toolbar with Add Attachment tab at center.
     
  2. If you are adding an attachment from a file on your computer, click Browse and find the file you wish to attach.
    Attach File(s) screen.
     
  3. Once you have selected the file, click Attach and Send.
  4. If you would like the image to appear in the message body, click the checkbox marked Show images in message body.
