After editing the email address with a new one, the old one continues to show up.  This happens even after exiting email and signing out.  Yes, the new address was "saved". 

 

It happens with all approaches, i.e., whether partially typing the name or clicking on "To" to open the address selection list.  The old address is still there.  The new address shows up only if leaving Email and clicking on Addresses.  But it never shows up under email.

Are you referring to the drop-down list you see when you start typing in the "To:" field?  If so--------------------

 

The auto-complete feature in the Comcast address book has it's own memory.  You can't access it or alter it.  Periodically Comcast will re-set accounts, and at that time entries that have been deleted from your address book should vanish.  However, they only do that sporadically, on no particular schedule.  So those old addresses could keep popping up for quite a while.
