How  do I set the email in my trash forder to automatically delete on 30 days ?

Re: e mail

If you are still in the old email format, from the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>>>>Email>>>>>>Email Deletion Schedule.  If you are in the new email format, there is no schedule you can adjust.  Trash defaults to 14 days or 5000 messages, whichever comes first.  You cannot change it.

On the other hand, if you are using a desktop  email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, the settings in the client will override the webmail settings, and you could set it to longer than 14 days if you want to.  The same applies to the mail app on a mobile device.
