do emails moved to folders still count against my "email usage"

I am near the 10G of email usage that xfinity allows me. Does moving emails to imap folders make any difference?  How can I either increases the 10G allowance or reduce my usage?

In a residential account, you cannot increase the storage.  To do that you would need to get a business class account.  To free up space consider deleting old emails you no longer need, or especially deleting large attachments.  If you need to keep those you could download them to your computer and then delete them from the email account.

That was helpful, but my question pertained to emails that I had moved to personal IMAP folders. Are these also counted in the 10G storage?
