copying an excel email containing addresses to computer file

I want to move/save an email containing addresses in an excel file to my computer harddrive.

How can I do this without losing the file?

Assuming you are in the new email format, open the message, and in the toolbar click on the "hamburger" icon to the right.  In the drop-down click on "Save as file".
