convert email to doc file

I want to free up space in my email. I would like to convert my folders into doc or pdf files. or if I can move my email folder to a doc or pdf file. I tried moving directly from my inbox to a doc file but it doesn't work. Thank you for your help.

Re: convert email to doc file

Did you try, highlighting all of the text in the body of the email and then right clicking on that highlighted text and then clicking on copy?

you  could then open up Microsoft word, and a new document, and then paste the text that you copied to the clipboard into the new document.

Re: convert email to doc file

Thank you for your reply. Your suggestion did work, but I was wondering if I could convert a WHOLE folder not just a single email. Thanks again

I don't think there is any way to do that.  Email programs are not the same thing as working with a word processor like MS Word or Mac Pages.
