comcast.net website

comcast.net website

On Internet Explorer, if I type "comcast.net" in the address bar I receive an Error 404 message.  If I then type the same thing ("comcast.net") in the address bar again, it then loads the correct Comcast page.  Why does this take exactly two attempts each time?  I used to be able to go to the Comcast webpage on IE with "comcast.net" typed only once.  I have already deleted the cookies, reset IE 11, unpluged and re-plugged in the modem and router, etc.

When I open Firefox, "comcast.net" loads the Comcast page correctly the first time.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Re: comcast.net website

If you're going to the Xfinity/Comcast homepage, you might want to start typing my.xfinity.com instead of comcast.net
