cant get to emails

cant get to emails

when i try to access email i just get a blank screen with never ending blinking dots.   whats going on?

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser.

Latoque, thanks for your response and suggestions. Unfortunately, clearing my browser's cache/browsing history and re-starting a session did not solve the issue. A different browser is a reasonable suggestion and might work, but in my view thats really not a work-around I should have to do. I suspect this problem is somehow related to the recent "big change" with Xfinity, perhaps a compatibility issue? If Xfinity email can't be reliable when using W7 IE11 (which is hardly a niche browser) then I am probably better off in the long run to use a different email provider and keep my browser.

Do you have the latest build of IE-11?  According to Wikipedia --------------------

I have IE-11 on my Windows 10 laptop and I have no problem getting at my Comcast email with it.  I have the machine set to use automatic updates, and it looks like mine is on 11.0.43
