i am signed in, I get the xfinity connect screen with a spinning wheel in an undefined tab, since 4/1/2017

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser.

This is a comcast faulty product and not due to any cookies in the cache or which browser is being used.  I use internet explorer, my neighbor uses chrome & mozilla.  We both have the same problems re not being able to connect or only after a very long time.  Comcast needs to recognize this problem & fix it or return to the previous email system.
