can't access comcast email

can't access comcast email

When I try to access the internet through Chrome (clicking on the icon at the bottom of page), it will take me to a page that has the following error message:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Cookie

/n

I can access sites through using "my favorites" but can't access my email!  Help!!!  I've cleared cache, etc, still nothing!

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way.

Can access my account online but not my email. Been this way for awhile. I can click the mail icon, but am basically taken to the same interface.

 

Again I only come to the Comcast site to check the email there. And now it's inaccessible.

 

I've dumped my browser history, etc. No difference.

 

Happening on both Chrome and Firefox. My operating system is OSX 10.11.16

 

Did a chat with a Comcast person for 50 minutes. Then browser crashed. And I didn't have the patience to go through all that again.

 

The last request was to delete my personal settings on Chrome. However, I don't believe I ever created "personal settings" on Chrome. You have to sign in on that, etc.

 

Any suggestions appreciated.

As a work-around, try using the mobile version of Xfinity Connect;  in your browser address bar type   m.comcast.net/m   and hit return.  See if you can get in that way.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked today and, for some mysterious reason, it's back in place again.

 

So I didn't have to do the mobile route yet. Thanks though......B
