I have two email servers:  Comcast (Xjinity) and Godaddy (secureserver.net).  I have two email accounts in my email software with godaddy.  One of those accounts required me to change the password.  Since then,

I have not been able to receive emails on either of the godaddy email accounts.  I perused the forums and have seen similiar problems.  I have changed the smtp, without SSL, port setting many times and cannot

send or receive mesages, and this account is my business account!  I can fully access those godaddy accounts on godaddy webmail (secureserver.net), but I need to access them on my desktop email software.

I just tried using SSL and smtp port 587 for Comcast account, but it won't connect:  it just hangs.

 

Have my mulitple attempts at authorization caused Comcast to shut me out (of all my accounts, since they're linked by my email software)?  Please help!

We can't help you with your godaddy email problems.  You should contact GoDaddy for any problems you're having and what settings you should be using.
