a problem with e-mail attachments

trouble with e-mail attachments.

How do I prevent my e-mail attachments from being blocked? Must they always be pdf files in order to be opend by the e-mail receiver

Re: a problem with e-mail attachments

If the attachment is being blocked, there is something going on with your recipient's email program.  You have no control over that.  PDF is a standard file format, but so is Word and others.  The only thing I can think offhand is if the file exceeds whatever the size limit is in the recipient's program.  Does the other person get any error message when they try to open one of the attachments?

Re: a problem with e-mail attachments

I have the same problem with my laptop and my Samsung Galaxy tablet.  I am unable to see any of the email attachments, no matter the size, without first downloading them.  I don't always want to download them.  Is there a setting I can change on Comcast email?
