XFINITY Connect Webmail Release Notes

We would like to keep everyone informed on what’s new, whenever we make changes to XFINITY Connect Webmail.

Going forward, we will use this forum post to provide you with the most up to date information for each version of the webmail.

 

To check what version of the webmail you are using please follow the directions below.

 

 

  • Click on the Gear Icon in the upper right
  • Click on About

We are happy to announce that Xfinity Connect 7.8.2-2.0.0.7 was released today. 

 

NEW   

  • The much anticipated return of an Address Picker when composing a new email. Just click on To, CC or BCC!

 

IMPROVED

  • Cleaned up the Address Book toolbar

 

FIXED

  • Fixed a bug that was stopping the item count to not appear when hovering over a folder
  • Fixed a bug with the tooltips in the Address Book
  • Fixed a bug when forwarding more than one email at a time
  • Fixed a bug with folders named “archive” not showing up for some customers

We wanted to announce that Xfinity Connect 7.8.2-2.1.0-2 was released, but we had to wait until it was. It was!  

 

IMPROVED

  • We made it easier to see the text in replies and forwards. No more grey text!
  • We have made sure to show you ALL of your folders the first time you log in.
  • We changed some of the more “technical” error messages to be a little more user friendly.

 

FIXED

  • Fixed a few bugs in attachments and quick reply
  • Fixed a bug with addresses
  • Fixed a bug for groups with a long name
  • Fixed some of the Spanish language text

We know that you anxiously await hearing about our releases, so hearing that XFINITY Connect 7.8.2-2.2.0-3 was released should be a relief.

 

IMPROVED

  • We made a bunch of improvements to how you work with folders.
    • New Hide/Show Folders Experience
    • New Create Folder icon 

FIXED

  • Fixed a folder icons not showing up next to some folders
  • Fixed an issue with saving signatures

We are very happy to announce XFINITY Connect 7.8.2-3.0.0-11 was released today.

 

NEW

  • We have released the new Spell Check tool.
    • Look for the icon in your Compose toolbar.
    • Added a Pro-Tip in the tour to help you find it.
    • Updated our FAQ with information about how Spell Check works.

 

IMPROVED

  • We changed the FavIcon to reflect our new style.

Announcing the release of XFINITY Connect 7.8.2-3.2.0-6.

  

IMPROVED

  • Implemented a new font to make it easier to read on all displays
  • Spellchecker enhancements
  • Updated links in the FAQ

 

FIXED

  • Results when searching in ALL FOLDERS now displays the correct location of the found email
