Hello, I'm new to this forum, I have Comcast TV, Internet and phone service with a standard router and I have ordered a wireless router with Comcast. My question is will the wireless router support telephone service? Thanks for your time.

O/k so your phone/phone system should already be hooked up to your telephony type modem. That modem handles both the internet and the phone services. It is not a concern whether the router is compatible or not. It is not being used for your phone service.

The router is not involved with their CDV service if that's what you have. You have the Triple Play package right ? If so then it is your telephony modem/eMTA device which handles that.

Just hang the router off of the modem as you would any other.  The fact that you have a modem that has phone bult in is 100% irrelevant.
