Windows Media Revisited

Forum members,

A while back, discussion centered about Windows 10 not allowing CD's to be ripped/burned.  Yes, I was upset as many of you were when I tried to download to WM and burn the content to my CD's.  Recently, a neighbor was over, and I was complaining to him about Windows 10 and specially WM.  He told me do as I did, just download WM 12 and you can rip/burn all day.

Before I try this, I wanted to check with the forum to see if this really works, or, do any of you have another suggestion that could be better.  Understand, that I am NOT a computer whiz and simplicity is how I roll.

Thanks for your time,

Re: Windows Media Revisited

I have Windows 10 and Windows Media Player 12, and have never had a problem ripping or burning CDs. Windows Media Player 12 is included in Windows 10, so a separate download shouldn't be necessary.
