Windows Live Mail & IMAP

Per the recent email I received from Comcast, I switched my Windows Live Mail 2012 Comcast account from POP to IMAP.  Since then, whenever I delete messages, they are permanently deleted and I cannot find them.  They are not in the Trash folder in the Comcast account, nor are they in the Deleted Items in the Storage folder.  When I check the Comcast account settings under the IMAP tab, it shows "Deleted items path:  Trash".  So this should be working correctly, but it's not.  Any help??
