Windows 10, Live Mail, and Comcast email

Windows 10, Live Mail, and Comcast email

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and was happy that it seemed so easy to set up my email in Live Mail. I can receive email just fine, but it won't send outgoing mails--says the connection to the server failed. Comcast says it's a Windows issue. That doesn't make sense, but there are no solutions in any of the Windows forums. Comcast just seemed satisfied that I could use the internet based mail and not concerned at all with functionality in Live Mail. Did I just get a slow tech or is there really no solution? How, then, can they say they support Live Mail?

The settings for POP3 are found here---------------

https://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email/

Comcast, like most ISPs now, does not support the use of port 25 for outgoing emails for security reasons.
