Why is there a 100 recipient limit?

There appears to be a 100 recipient limit in Comcast Email. What good is this? I just wasted a hour trying to send an email to a large group that I have to communicate with on a regular basis. Is there a better work-around than sending out multiple emails with shorter recipient lists?

The limits are to help control spam.  To do what you want you would need a business class account.  For residential accounts, you can send to no more than 100 recipients per message, and 1000 per day.  Gmail has stricter limits---------------

Yahoo limits you to 100 per message, and only 500 per day.  You will find that most email providers have such limitations on outgoing emails.
