Why is mail I have identified as spam getting through to my Inbox?

I have identified a particular email address as spam twice now, but I am still getting spam from this sender. How do I stop this?

You keep marking it as spam whenever it gets to the Inbox.  Depending on just what it is, it may take a long time and a lot of markings to help "train" the filters as to what you think is junk mail.  If it is always from the same sender, you could try setting up a filter to dump them.  But if it's garden variety spam that won't work, since spammers will keep changing different things about the message.
