Why does my Outlook 2013 disconnect after 10 minutes

I work from home.  Everyday I open Outlook 2013 and connect.  It works fine.  My internet remains connected, however, I lose my connection to the server for my email.  The only way to reconnect to mail is for me to restart the computer.  Very frustrated.  I've already deleted and recreated the mail profile and that did not fix it.  Any suggestions?
