When sending email I get "An unknown error occured"

When sending email I get "An unknown error occured"

I receive the message "An Unknown error occured"  How do I fix this?


The error happens 75% of the time when I do the below

1)start with IE, Edge or Chrome

2)go to https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/#!!&app=io.ox/mail&folder=default0/INBOX

3)click on the compose new email link

4) craft a new email (for simplicity I put my own email address in the to box), enter in a quick subject and text in the body

5) click on the send button

Result: "An uknown erorr occured" (see image below)



I have been on the phone with Comcast Support mutlitple times and nobody knows how to solve this.


The Server unreachable message also pops up which makes me think there is a network issue between my PC and the server.  According to http://www.speedtest.net/ I have GREAT download (85M and upload (25M speeds so speed is not the issue.  I suspect there is a general connection issue somwhere between my PC and my cable modem or maybe its my cable modem.  Thoughts???
