What's with the overly aggressive spam filter?

What's with the overly aggressive spam filter?

It seems over the last 6 months or so the spam filter has been overly aggressive blocking mail from senders who I repeatedly mark as not spam and add to my address book. Yesterday took the cake. I work for a major company with a well known domain name yet when I sent myself an email from work it went straight to spam. Is there anything we can do to whitelist senders rather than have to email Xfinity about each one?

Re: What's with the overly aggressive spam filter?

Could you send me a private message with the email address you're using, as well as details about the message that is going to the spam folder?  Thank you.

Sent private email, but this happens often. There has got to be a better way to deal with it.

Adding senders to your address book won't help. Some spam filtering systems consider this. Comcast really should, but they don't.
