What changes has Comcast made with email in last month?

What changes has Comcast made with email in last month?

Comcast has made changes to email but not informed us. I know this because of the following:

 - no longer able to get email on my Windows 8 mail (no syncing)

 - no longer able to use Firefox to access mail (only IE works)

 - replying to email on iPad app now includes original emails instead of attahed (also takes longer to type email)

 

What has Comcast changed and what do we need to do to make it possible to access email as we used to?

Update:

 - Windows 8 mail just started working again

 - Firefox stll not able to open mail page (with or without https://)

Tiggerlil,

I'm sorry to hear you're having isuses.  What error are you receiving when retrieving your email on Windows 8?  Are you using the default email client?  We've done extensive testing with Windows 8 mail and our email platform and I can assure you it's working as expected right now.  So it's likely there's another issue at play.  Knowing what error you're seeing will be helpful.

 

As for Firefox not working, I'd recommend clearing your internet history.  I actually access my Comcast.net email daily using Firefox.  Again, an error or screenshot may help us diagnose what's happening here.
