Unwanted Message

How do I get rid of the Unsaved (open) Items message? It is so annoying and unnecessary.

Re: Unwanted Message

There is no way to do that.  I assume you mean the one that appears if you start a browser session after you have an unfinished Compose page?

Re: Unwanted Message

Not really. I get this message after I have sent the email so I always check Discard since there is no reason to save it. It is already saved in my SENT box. Unlike the old version, I cannot see anywhere that a message has been left open.

Also, after opening and reading a message, as far as I can see, the only way to leave it (without deleting it) is the go back to MAIL. I don't see a BACK arrow. The Comcast HELP box does not offer much help at all.

Re: Unwanted Message

In the new format, if you start a compose window, then close the tab or sign out of the account without finishing it, the next time you go to sign in, you will see this-------------------

The "Mail: Warning question" is what I typed in the Subject field of the email.

Re: Unwanted Message

If I start a compose message and don't finish it, I either Save it or Discard it. So how can it still be Open for me to get the unwanted Comcast message? If I have saved it, why does the system need to save it? I don't understand why Comcast thinks this is such a great system. The old system showed in the bar if something was left open.  I do thank you for trying to help.

Re: Unwanted Message

Hi again,

I think I figured it out. Thanks!

Is there any way I can get the "print" button to appear in a message when opened (like reply, forward, delete) ? All I see now is the "more actions" button ....or I have to use Ctrl P.

Re: Unwanted Message

There is no way to do what you are describing.  But you still have the Print command in the "More actions" menu.
