Unable to send or receive messages for the Comcast. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.

I have been getting the same message for two days.  Customer Service at Comcast says that they don't yet have a solution.  It reads;

"Unable to send or receive messages for the Comcast (my name) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server: 'mail.comcast.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

When will this be fixed?

Re: Unable to send or receive messages for the Comcast. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.

Try switching to these settings:

Incoming server: mail.comcast.net

Incoming Port: 995 with SSL ON

Outgoing server:  SMTP.comcast,net

Outgoing Port: 465 withbSSL ON

UNDER TGECSERVER TAB:  THIS SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION  must be checked.

Do NOT  check SPA ( secure password authentication.
