Unable to receive e-mail on my Ipad

Can receive email on my regular computer and WAS able getit on my I pad , but it quit receiveing emails on its own.  Calls to comcast have been ignored or of no use. They said they would cll back but after 24 hours ,I give up.  I have their ticket number but no response .  I do have the proper host name in the incoming mail server block

Delete the account from the iPad and then re-enable it again from scratch.  See if that does the trick for you.  I'm assuming you are using IMAP.  It should auto-configure it for you after you enter your information.
