Unable to download email w/Windows 10 to Incredimail

Unable to download email w/Windows 10 to Incredimail

 Last winter, I suddenly found I couldn't download my email into Incredimail. CCCarole responded with the correct IMAP, POP, port and other settings. I used those, and I was able to download my email again.

 

Now I have Windows 10 installed and I cannot send or receive even using the previously recommended  settings. I've tried both POP and IMAP. Usually, the error message is just "operation incomplete." Other times it may tell me my email address is possibly incorrect.

 

I have all the Windows Updates.

PS - these are the previously recommended settings:

USING POP YOUR SETTINGS SHOULD BE:

 

Incoming server: mail.comcast.net

Incoming Port SHOULD be 995 with SSSL ON

Outgoing server: SMTP.comcast.net

Outgoing Port should be Port 465 with SSL ON

Under tgecServerctab:  This server requires Authentucation must be checked

Do NOT check SPA ( Secure password authentication)

 

IMAP SERVERS:

Incoming server is: IMAP.comcast.net

Incoming Port is 993 withbSSL ON

The rest of the settings the same as POP servers

UPDATE: I found another answer giving a different outgoing port here:  http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/E-Mail-and-Xfinity-Connect-Help/incredimail/td-p/2595540  (Port 587)  That worked!
