Transfer email

Can I transfer my email account to another account since I am moving to a state that comcast does not service?

Re: Transfer email

If you mean that you want to keep your Comcast email address, the answer is no.  Comcast email is proprietary.  When you are no longer a paying customer you will no longer be able to access that email address or any of the emails you leave on their servers.  If you have existing emails you want to keep, then you need to set the account up in an email client like Mozilla Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail or some other.  That way you will at least have them on the computer.  Make sure you save them in local folders in the client.

Another option would be to export them to some other email account you have like Gmail, Outlook.com or Yahoo, etc.
