Thunderbird stopped sending

Thunderbird stopped sending

Yesterday all of a sudden I was unable to send email using Thunderbird. I have tried every setting on Comcast's web site or Mozilla's. I spent 15 minutes chatting with support who was usless and didn't read what I wrote.

 

I have hundreds of emails sitting in Tbird and I really don't want to start all over with a new client. Suggestions??

Are you getting any kind of error message when you try to send?  Do the message just sit in the Outbox folder or what?  Do your settings match what the Comcast recommendations for clients are?  See here----------------
